Many thanks to Jeff Segal of Heart Wine Bar and Monk's Kettle's own cicerone, Sayre Piotrkowski, for putting together an incredible line-up of beers and wines for a one-of-a-kind dinner experience: a 5 course menu featuring one beer and one wine paired with each dish.

A heart-felt thanks to Garrett Oliver for an incredible book signing of his newly released The Oxford Companion to Beer. A special menu was on display for the evening; details can be viewed

A huge thanks to everyone for a ridiculously amazing East Coast Beer Night on Thursday March 24. On tap were Pretty Things and Cambridge Brewing: Jack D'Or (Pretty Things), Project Venus (collaboration between Cambridge, Stone and Victory), and Blunderbuss 2010 (Cambridge).
Dann and Martha, owners of Pretty Things, and Will Myers, brewmaster at Cambridge Brewing, were on hand to discuss the beers and their breweries. A PDF of the day's Beer Menu can be viewed
Many thanks to Deschutes Brewery for an amazing night on Tuesday, March 22. On tap, all at the same time were: Red Chair, Mirror Pond, Hop Henge, Jubel 2010, Mirror Mirror, Black Butte XXI, Abyss 2009 and Abyss 2010. Also, a big thanks to Deschutes Head Chef Matt Neltner for joining our own Head Chef Adam Dulye in the kitchen and bringing some great dishes with him. A PDF of the night's Food Menu can be viewed

In case you missed it, The Monk’s Kettle now offers a rare List of Vintage beers. We have unveiled a menu of beers that have been aging in our climate controlled beer cellar, most since our opening in December of 2007. This list will change over time and grow, as beers peak for consumption, and the seasons change. We now offer some of these bottles to you.
